All Dock Skipper listings fit into one of three cancellation policies selected by the listing host. These cancellation policies will automatically be applied during any cancellation. Select a cancellation policy from the drop down below to get a full breakdown of the policy.

Lenient Cancellation Policy
If booking is cancelled by the guest within 1 day of arrival, the guest will be entitled to a full booking cost refund with the following conditions:
The Dock Skipper 5% booking fee will not be refunded.
If there is ever a dispute, Dock Skipper will have the final say in all matters after carefully evaluating both sides of the argument.
The reservation must be cancelled using the Dock Skipper control panel. Emails sent to Dock Skipper support requesting a cancellation does not officially cancel a booking.
If cancellation is due to a natural disaster the guest may be entitled to a greater refund amount. This will be looked into on a case by case bases and as previously stated, Dock Skipper will have the final say.
Arrival time is considered 12:00, noon EST. Therefore, if arrival date is January 15th, 2015, one day prior to arrival would be considered January 14th, 2015, 12:00 noon EST.
Dock Skipper credits used to complete a booking are always non-refundable.

Guest Makes Reservation
The guest books a listing and completes payment for the invoice on February 1st, 2015 for a checkin date of February 15th, 2015.

Guest Decides To Cancel Reservation
If the reservation is cancelled on February 14th, 2015 by 12:00 noon, EST, then the guest would be entitled to a full refund based on the lenient cancellation policy. If the guest was to cancel a reservation after 12:00 noon, EST, the guest would not be entitled to a refund.

Guest Checkin Date
This day, February 15th 2015 would be the guest checkin date based on the original reservation.
Moderate Cancellation Policy
If booking is cancelled by the guest within 5 days of arrival, the guest will be entitled to a full booking cost refund with the following conditions:
